This .gif is a scanned image of a photograph of a Perseid meteor flashing across the Summer Triangle (past Deneb and the North America and Pelican nebulae) taken by Keith Corban at 0900 UT 12 August 1994 from a site at 5300 ft. elevation in the Davis Mountains State Park, Texas. It is a 20 minute exposure on Kodak Ektar 1600 film taken with a piggybacked Minolta Maxxum 7000 camera and a 28 mm lens operating at f/3.5.
