THE MISSION OF APOLLO-SOYUZ
ALL-ACCESS MEMBERS ONLY
|
On July 15, 1975, the United States and Soviet Union set aside their Cold War differences and came together in history-making cooperation in space - the first international space mission. Two decades before the International Space Station made international cooperation in space commonplace, the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project captured the hopes of a world longing for peace between global superpowers and foreshadowed future partnerships. The docking of an American Apollo spacecraft and Soviet Soyuz marked a high point of detente at the peak of the Cold War. "The Mission Of Apollo-Soyuz" is NASA's official documentary film of this historic project.
